"Where the Wildflowers Grow" was inspired by my very own wildflower garden and the little surprises it brings throughout the summer. New colors seem to appear overnight, flowers bloom where I don’t remember planting them, and everything grows together in its own beautifully unruly way.
The flowers overlap, bend, and grow in every direction, creating the feeling of a garden that has been allowed to become wonderfully untamed. Bold color, marks, and layered brushstrokes capture the beautiful abundance and unpredictability of summer, when something new seems to bloom every day.
