Bright pink peonies, golden green leaves, and a soft periwinkle background come together in this playful, expressive floral painting. With bold brushstrokes and unexpected pops of color, Waiting for Peonies captures the beauty of one of my favorite flowers.
Every spring, I find myself checking on my peonies almost daily, waiting for those tiny buds to finally open. And when they do, they're always worth the wait. This piece is inspired by that little bit of excitement that comes with growing something beautiful and the reminder that some of the best things in life take a little patience.
